Noticed something interesting about VanDam’s rods….

Kevin VanDam has 3 rods with his name on them. the Kevin Vandam signature series sold at BPS, the KVD tour, and the KVD tour elite.

My question is, does he still use his signature series, or tour series? Or is he all tour elites? I ask because It seems every other pro just upgrades the same line of rods instead of creating a whole new line.

Hey ive fished a few kinds of creature baits and tubes and ol monsters etc but only have 1 rod for them and am looking for one that can be used for flipping/pitching anything, working submerged hydrilla, rock shoals, wood, etc… best all-around choice…

Also, assuming 3/8 ounce weight will be good for depths ranging from 4-6 feet whether flipping laydowns stumps pads hydrilla or working bottom… got a senko set up weightless if need be..

Lake is clear if it helps

-ad, thanks

im fishing a tournament on april 3rd in the susquhanna river in Pennsylvania. its a jr. tournament so im fishing with kids my age. im thinking about using a finnese jig or maybe a nest robber colored booyah football jig in deeper sections of the river. Also im thinking about fishing around rocky shorelines with those baits or maybe a suspending jerkbait. Anyone else got any ideas on what might work? just describe the situation and ill say if the river has that.

i have a pfluger president and i like it for flipping and pitching, but when i cast it, it almost always backlashes. i have 20 lb BPS flurocarbon spooled on and i cant figure out why it is doing this. even when i turn the centrifical brake on the whole way it still does it. it stops if i turn the brake on the whole way, but i can only cast like 10 yds. Help plz

I know Northland doesn’t specialize in bass gear, but I love their Jungle Jigs. I aslo stocked up on their replacement skirts. I think they are an underrated company. Just wondering how many of you guys use anything Northland. I’m assuming you walleye guys use them quite a bit, and panfish jigs too. They get overshadowed by the BooYahs and other jig companies.
