Yeah that thing is sick....good thing it doesnt come out for several months. Im not too sure i like the Eneregy model though. The carbon fiber handle is nice...and that gray color is pretty nice too. I like that better than the blue they currently have on the TE. Im already mad...i hope they are so expensive i cant buy one. LOL....ill have to see what they look like in person before i can make a real decision, and of course i will have to test it out.
Im wondering if they changed anything at all really...other than making it lighter and adding cosmetic changes. Granted being 2 ounces lighter is huge, but just wondering if the brake system is better or something....not that it really matters, but…
yeah, i have 4 Energy baitcasters and 1 Energy spinning....probably gonna sell all but the spinning and the 5.1 Energy...cause they only make the TE in the higher gear ratios....damn...just looking at it makes me sick...hope i can squeeze a good deal out of my local shop again...LOL
I hear yea, I have a buddy that fishes tourneys with me he owns a tackle shop, he always sells me reels and cost, so I am going to tell him to get me some of them for cost...if not he ant fishing with me anymore LOL!!!
I dont like the new look of the energy, I think they should have kept it flashy in some way like the previous. As far as new features go it looks like there is a new breaking system, Micro ACS I think they called it. I wonder if there will be much of a difference. Also if you look on the home page for quantum the old and new TEs are in the picture and the new one looks like it has a much lower profile. I’m sure they left some information out of the review for ICAST and future articles as the selling date nears.
Yeah, i am not a fan of the the energy at all. Looks like the accurist to me...with the rainbow rings in the side. You wont even see the colors of the spool anyway...i think that is the most pointless place to try to be fancy. Im sure more info will come out after icast next month. Im anxious to see them in person.

Yeah, it looks sweet and im sure the new braking system will be nice...along with the weight reduction...im just not gonna have enough money to buy 4 or 5 of them...so, ill stick to my Energys for awhile
