Dang this sucks. I just found out that the BASSMASTER elite series doesn’t stop at Clarks Hill this year. NOO! that was the one thing i really looked forward to. But at least they’ll be back the next year. Did anyone else get their home lake taken out of the series this year. All i know is that… THIS SUCKS.

My closest lake is Kentucky/Barkley. They are stopping there in 09 and 10 but they moved the launch from Ky to Paris, Tn. So, basically a couple more hours to drive.

oh yeah.... elites were at Big Sam (Rayburn) near Jasper, Tx way back in 2005. have not seen hide nor hair of these folks since then...and the next couple of years are no better....reckon they may have gotten their feelings hurt while here. not sure exactly what may have happened....but i heard a couple of rumors that the local folks in charge didnt pursue the event for a return....still scratchin my head on that one....
