I don’t know about the paint but it’s worth the money to put some kind of paint on bed lining on the bottom of the boat to protect it.If you have a small motor on it ‘it will help you on speed(lol it’s only a 14 footer).No seriously my frind who builds drag boats puts it on his race boat.I thought it would cause drag but he says it don’t it causes air bubbles witch causes lift.He says it better than waxing the bottom of you bassboat(witch i’ll never do again thought I was never going to stop almost hit the tree I was going to fish)But basiclly for you it would be to protect the bottom and if there were some leaks you didn’t know about it will seal them.
