I thought it would be great if Kevin posted once a month a detailed post on techniques and strategies. This would be a great addition to this already fantastic website. I would love to buy BASS Insider, but it is a little step for me with this economy. If once a month KVD personally put up a post with a technique, strategy, lure tweaks, etc., that would be a very useful tool for us weekend warriors. He could even record it and post it. then all of us can chime in on what he posted. I think that would be a very helpful addition.

I know we can post any question and he may get to it someday and the other members of this site offer great advice, I believe hearing information from a professional, have it the greatest of all time, would bring that much more confidence in trying out a given tip…

Just a thought. Great website, friendly place for everyone, and very well put together… Hats off!

Phil

Great idea and should be fun to see what everyone has to say about their area/state since everyone will have their on local ideas and also to see if they will work in other areas/states.

I have 2 kids ages 3 an 10 years old.  It will be difficult trying to buy a Bass Boat for another 15 years.  It is my dream to own a bass boat but in 15 years i’ll be 55 years old.  Anyone got any suggestions on how to finance a Bass boat without going broke and or going into debt?  Thank you.  Shore Bass fishing in Columbus, OH

this will make you feel better.... i turn 55 next february....and my youngest is 13 yrs old...got my first grand-daughter this past April....and i am still paying for my present bass rig...will be all mine next year around sept-oct.  i...we bought a rig that would last me and the family....in particular me and the boy. no..it’s not the top of the line, but you have seen them at BPS by Tracker....BassTracker model...got 3 jump seats when the wife wants to go...and a spare when she doesnt. its all aluminum...basic and works just right for me. it all comes down to economics… this rig with a 3yr ext-warranty run me right at $14k....best thing about it...it was brand new with a total of 6 yrs of warranty. takes a lot of worry out of the equation.... next time you can check out the Tracker models.... great prices for those of us on the lower end of income....

Thank you for the reply about getting a Bass Boat.  I’ve gone back and forth with Bass Tracker and Triton.  I feel for my families needs, Bass Tracker is the way to go.  I will have to find a local dealer and go check em out.  Now to figure out which Fish finder/GPS, trolling motor, and Flippin stick.  Good stress.
