Just drove from West Michigan to Cleveland to Toledo to Detroit today. I don’t even bother looking at gas prices any more. Don’t want to get down.

Congrats on hitting the money nitrofire225!  FYI...here in SW Iowa we have actually seen a DROP in gas prices!!  Was at $3.34 and back DOWN to $3.29.  I hate the idea of being happy to pay $3.29/gallon, but it is a start.  Think .99 gas will be back anytime soon?

I’ve heard the same thing about the refinery but then they also said that gas prices might hit the $4.05 price by this Friday here in Michigan then start going down.  I sucks because I have team tournament this weekend and two next weekend.

Dam 3.45 last night. These oil owners make me sick. I’ll have to ask for a raise or get 2 jobs!

Hate to pass this along, but in central Iowa gas price at Quick Trip...$3.19 DOWN from $3.21 on Wednesday.  Still sitting at $3.29 in SW Iowa, but getting better (down from $3.34 Monday)!

It’s a speculative market, it’s sick because there’s no real shortage, just nervous people. The oil companies can just ride people’s fears and shrug their shoulders while they cash the checks. Watch the prices come down before the next Presidential election.

cheese MORE GOOD NEWS!!  Here in central Iowa (where I work) gas prices down...AGAIN!!  We are now down to $3.09 just before the Memorial Day Weekend!  My wife tells me SW Iowa (where I live) remains at $3.29.  Happy fishin’ to you all!  (kinda sick to be happy about $3.09/gal, but what do ya do?)

In west MI 87 octane is approx. 3.47 / gallon. Which is way too high for a 1986 two-stroke gas guzzler.

its like $3.49/gal here NW Ohio and is expected to jump to $4.15/gal here in a month or so… I remember when I left Kentucky in 2003 to come up here we had just really bombed the shit out of Afghanistan, the gas prices were still $1.19 a gallon and people were crapping cinder blocks over that!!...... most people these days put their fuel on credit cards anyhow, and worry about the interest later and write it off and a deductible, while rolling over to different cards every 3 months to avoid the interest…
pardon my french people… but this is friggin insane, just bend over and take it like a man!!!.... ain’t gonna change anything by complaining....people slugging people in lines at gas stations? because they drop their prices below $2.99 a gallon so they can clear a storage tank of gas to get new fuel. Sad when an oil company values the almighty dollar over the mental health and financial stability of its nations people...lol When you know if they lowered prices more people would go to the pumps and they would make more money, provided that our infrastructure does allow for a possible shortage in the next 5 years..

Playing that Credit card game will get you into some deep do do. A guy I fished with for some years started doing that and is really in debt now its to the point where he has to almost sell his boat and stuff. He stopped the tourney scene for 2 yrs now because of it. But he would charge 200-300 a weekend on gas/food and beers wherever we were fishing that weekend. My advice don’t use that card. If you can’t pay then don’t play. Take up golf or something else.

Hey, golf’s expension, a great set of custom clubs cost about three or four Steez setup’s! and to get on a golf course where I live forget it, it’s a hundy to walk!!! At least I can go in my back yard pitch, flip, and cast.  You thought the people in the sail boat had big eyes, see what neighbor looks like when a ball comes flying though the kitchen window! Oh, I almost foregot this is about the gas.  I just filled up at $3.55 company card, It’s a beautiful thing.  “The Warden” my wife, it’s a joke for those that don’t know yet, and the son just filled up and it cost me alot , and yes it sucks!
