just when it was starting to get nice here and start to warm up and thaw out the ice another snow storm has to come up and dump 6- 12 inches on us will we ever get good weather

*L* Sorry for the luck profisher!  I hate to say this, but better you than me!!  I am excited as the holes that were fairly small a week ago on a couple area lakes are growing into big holes and I’ve seen a couple ponds that are actually ice free now!!  I hope you enjoy your 6-12” though.

on a positive note, justa few weeks ago we had 70 degrees on asunday, 2 days later dumped 10” on us, 2 days later it was all gone. the snow isnt so bad cause it will leave soon, but i didnt like how the snow and runoff dropped water temps.

That is true..."spring" snows don’t usually stay too long.  We are about 99.9998% gone with our snow and if I don’t see another flake until next winter, I’m cool with that.  If the boy wasn’t sick, I’d probably go throw a jerk bait along the ice edge tomorrow, but wife has to work so looks like a day of cartoons for me. 

I get those beautiful tom and jerry days all the time. hoping babygirl will take a nice nap so i can hit the tivo. its the catch up time on fishin shows that keeps me fired. and the hope that one day she’ll share my passion with me!!!!!!

im with you bro i cant get any of my family to watch fishing with me they just dont understand

my wife gets tired of it but my daughters only 7 mos, so if i can drill it in her early then maybe sh’ll think its a part of life..  hopfully i can get on a good “pattern”.  if not though, ill be snagged, lol.

perfect age, not so much this summer, but next summer would be perfect time, my daughter was 2 1/2 when i took her bluegill fishing, she was excite to hold pole and when we brought one in, she put her lil thumb in its mouth like i do bass and she carried that fish all the way up the hill to the house and ask my ex to get a picture. i did that with both girls, they are now 18 and 13 and both love to fish. My nephews come over and will watch fishing all day long cause thier dad did same thing, get em early and make all thier times fun and they will join you.

Before she was born I bought her one of those barbie pole n tackle kits, bought me a spiderman one, they’re great ice poles. hers is still in the package, im waiting for that day.

Yep more snow, at least it will help lake levels this spring.
