That’s a tough one. I’ve been influenced by so many over the years. I like Shaw Grigsby, Rick Clunn, Hank Parker, Larry Nixon, Jimmy Houston, and Denny Brauer. I could list more, but these are my Super Six.
I dont know how long he has lived out here, but i have lived out here about 6 years maybe 7 and i have never seen him, just on TV. But yeah it is neat that he calls home so close to where i live. I always ask my self when im walking in wal-mart ( wonder if kelly jordan is in here getting some bait?? ) HAHA...very doubtful!!
1. KVD
2. Kelly Jordan----Lives down the road from me. Never see him thou
3. Skeet
He is a great fisherman. No doubting that. But if you do see him at Wal-Mart, I’d just tip my hat or nod. He has an odd persona. Not as friendly as a lot of the other guys.
Of course KVD is number one but I also like Aaron Martens, Ike, and Ish
Now this one may seen a little weird but Byron Velvick not quite the caliber of these other guys but when you see him on TV as host or correspondent he seems smart and articulate plus when I was a sup. with Directv one of my techs did his install in Del Rio and said he was a pretty cool guy never got a chance to get down there and meet him or “qc” the job oh well missed that chance to try and pick his brain.
Nice list Browny Did I see where your favorite angler has a new book coming out? Can’t remember...was that Charlie, Charles, or C Moore??? Hmm...I’ll have to research that one.
