God - cuz he walked on water
Al Linder - closest angler to the man above
Ron Linder - same as above
Bobby Murray - greatest pro bass angler of his era
Billy Murray - great fishing educator
Bill Binkleman - for teaching the Linder boys at a young age
Kenneth Tonelli - for teaching me for what all the above know

...but this should also include the ‘bass fishing mafia’, the one that started all this and made it what it is today

Ron and Al Linder
Billy and Bobby Murray
Roland Martin
Bill Dance
Harold Ensley
Virgil Ward

with out these, Ray Scott, Forrest L Wood, Johnny Morris and a few other that exploited it for monetary purposes would still be names that no one knows.

Gary Klein
Ish Monroe
Bill Dance
Al Linder
Gary Yamamoto - I saw him in a tourney once and his co-angler hooked a big fish.  Gary dropped his rod and manned the net waiting - I never saw any other “pro” do that.  He moved up a couple notches that day.

Wow, you really do have fishing in the bloodline. Thats something special to have known so many pioneers in the sport.

actually i just seen a good choice i never thought about and add 1 more to that, Forrest Wood and Ray Scott. That would just be fun for the stories and history. I have to add 1 more to my list for a specific reason, if i was to fish with best of the best and try to learn as much as i could about fishing itself it would be hands down KVD, but i get a mental breakdown, i will go into a tourn focused and ready, and if i do well im talkative and happy, but if i do bad i will be close lipped and far away from everyone. Im not pouting, i just beat myself up at lil mistakes or what i should have or could have done different. Even if i get a 2nd, i look at what i did wrong. I still have fun fishing and always look forward to it, but i always have the high and a low instead of enjoying the complete experience. I think the 1 person i look up to for a new way to deal with it is Shaw Grigsby, a truly nice guy and seems to have the right mindset to smile and be sociably on a not so good day.
