We both was throwing an Excalibur XR50 one-knock. Biggest one in the 27lb sack was a 6-1. Since then we have caught a 7-13 and a 7-04. I have pics on my camera. Ill load them up when I get home.

i just watched the live weigh-in. did you fish today or just follow the guys around? I’m sure you fished when the classic anglers got off the water. Did you fish any spots tht they did? if so how did you do?

I followed E2 and Skeet for awhile yesterday. Ran into Jason Christie and Big Show and watched them for awhile. We mostly just ran around the lake and watched.
I was at the north end most of the day and decided to trailer down to Guntersville to do some fishing. We ran to one of my spots first off and KVD and his fleet pulled in there about 30 seconds before we did. So I just sat there and watched instead of fishing. He’s in the right place but he’s not fishing it the way we did. Its the same spot we got the 27lb sack Thursday. Hopefully they move up for him. Im leaving it alone.
We left that cove after KVD and I headed to another spot we got the 7-13. Rojas was sitting on it. We ended up watching him for 20 mins or so till he left. Again, we left it alone. I finally moved to some deep stumps that I knew nobody would fish and caught that 7-04 last night. These stumps and gave up a couple 4’s, a 6 and that 7 since Wed. Too bad all these guys are fishing 5 FOW or less…..lol

I know Randy didn’t think he had much of a chance, but he brought in a big bag for championship day and Won it from 11th place. Good for him. he seems like a really nice guy, laid back and having fun. He hasn’t done very well on MLF, but now maybe he will.

Randall Tharp is going to do well on the Elites. He is a helluva fisherman coming from the FLW. I would have liked EE or Aaron Martens to win though if KVD couldn’t. You might find more of the top FLW guys switching over. Although the payouts are better on FLW tourneys, they make much more money in endorsement money on the Elites series.
