The main problem with stickbaits is that they tear so easily. You could go through a bag in a day easily(again). When Strike King came out with Zeros, I couldn’t switch over fast enough. The 3x material lasts so much longer, one Zero can last for several bass. Night and day difference. No contest!

I put senko, but i mainly use the wave worms, for the price, and they have great action(and a slow fall rate) But i do use BPS when i need a faster fall.  I dont really like the 3x material, it seems as though my hook-set ratio had declined when i tried some…If they came out with a 3x frog i would buy it though. grin

Senko has the best fall rate and weight for fishing weightless.  I also have the most confidence in the senko.

I also use wave worms but if I were to choose from the 3 it would be the dinger because of the price. Senkos are to over priced for what they are. Zeros I have never used.

senkos are very much superior but are expensive.

zeros are very very stretchy and i agree my hookup percentage went way down with them. its hard to get the hook through the rubber like material when setting hook.

dingers are great but lake the proper fall rate, because there salt content isnt high enough.

but i do own all three, but stick to the senkos most of the time. when the bite is wide open i will use the dingers cause they are cheaper.

I’ll use senks or dingers depending on the needed fall rate. However, sometimes I’ll go with a slightly bigger hook on the dingers to speed up the fall. They have both filled the livewell before.

I’ve never had a problem setting the hook with Zeros. My catch to strike ratio with Zeros is the same with regular plastics.

i think it has to do with how deep the hookis in the bait. if you have your hook in the plastic with that kind of material you probably wouldnt get a good hook up rate as you would with the hook exposed

I’m guessing, what everybody is referring to is “skin hooking”. Putting the point of the hook just barely into the plastic. I only do this if it is very necessary, which isn’t very often with Zeros.

when i texas rig a plastic, i don’t “skin hook” it.  i just run the hook through to where it almost pushes through, and i’ve never had a problem with hook sets.  that’s always worked well for me!

I just started buying the Zero’s this winter, havent had a chance to use them yet. I only used Dingers in the past, so I’ll fill ya in and cast my vote in the next couple of months.

I use none of the above. There are too many other brands that work just as well.
I use Case magic sticks and Alluring Baits trick stik versions.

When I need the fall rate of a senko, I use Case, it’s been tested and almost identical in fall, and they are 2 dollars cheaper a bag.
They are also 4.5 inches instead of 4”.
As for the plastic getting wasted, I started saving wasted soft-plastics by the bag full by using the Parasite Clips when T/Rigging anything weightless. One pack of clips can actually make you money.

Senkos for catching fish, and dingers for catching savings.

Out of the three, I choose Dingers.  Never had an issue with them and for the money, hard to beat.  I do have a bag of Zeros but never have used them.  I do have some Alluring trick sticks as well, hard to beat their price and get the same results.  I’ve actually gotten away from using these baits, I need to get back to them and put more numbers in my boat.
