What is the difference in fall rate between the senko and the dinger?  I usually fish the senko but picked up some dingers that are on sale.  I fish the senkos wacky, is why I am asking.

About the same, senkos have more action though.

Senkos are heavier too, so they’re easier to throw unweighted. Dingers are actually some of the lighter stick baits out there amongst name brands going by what I saw some guy do on TackleTour when comparing weight of stick baits. I don’t throw soft stick baits much anymore, other than 3” ones on a drop shot. I should, since I have a worm bag filled to the gills with stick baits of various, although mostly Yum, varieties.

Some friends said that the senko will fall faster than the dinger.  They said the dinger doesn’t have all the salt and sand that the senko has.

I’ve only used senkos, knami and BPS stick-Os.  The senko gets my vote.  The stick-O is only lure that stands out as having a unique action among the stick baits I have fished.  It’s wider tail puts off loads of vibration but does not balance properly without a head weight.  It zig-zags as it falls when rigged without a weight.  The plastic is noticeably harder than the senko.  I’ve started cutting all my sticks in half and rigging them with a mushroom head jig.  I catch more fish that way than on any other rig, but I am not an accomplished soft plastics guy by any means.
