Spent this past Sat. out on Erie with my tournament partner just fun fishing. We put in at Sterling State Park and headed out to Brest Bay, We ended up catching and releasing just 5 smallies heaviest was a lone 5 lber but boated 6 walleyes, 1 perch, 2 white bass, 1 catfish and 11 sheephead. The walleye, perch and catfish all came home to be filleted and froze for our family fish fry. We were dragging tubes 3/8 and 1/2 oz heads in 12-15 foot of water. I have a tourny this coming Sat. on Lobdell and Sun I’m heading back out to Erie for some more action.
