Go to http://www.outdoorproshop.com I too was shocked at the price when I saw it. I just handled one a couple of days ago and was ready to pay $170.00, but said to myself, “Self, just be patient and maybe a good deal will rear it’s head in the near future.” Man, am I glad I waited!

I own three revo stx’s and love them. This deal is just too good to pass up though. A $180 reel for $70, are you kidding me? I ordered one, will post on here when I get it with a comparison to the stx.

I don’t own a Revo. I almost pulled the trigger and got a Revo combo stx at Gander Mountain about three weeks ago, but just didn’t do it. I’m sure I’ll end up with one before too much longer. I am hearing a ton of good things about the Revo. The Quantum deal was just too good to pass on. A quality reel for just $70.00! That’s a no brainer in my book. Heck, you could turn around and sale it for an easy $100.00 on ebay, or perhaps craigslist.
I tried to see if our Gander Mtn would match the monster price, and they said, “No way. We get them for $120.00. The best we can do is $150.00”. Oh well, I tried.
My buddy just bought that light weight Revo, you know the 5.6 oz baitcaster. I think its the Revo, I know for sure its an Abu-Garcia, anyways. He put it on his GLoomis GLX 7 ft medium and let me tell you, its lighter than my cell phone, unbelievable! At a price of $600! What a steal!
Awesome deal man….i just purchased 3 of them about a month ago…didnt get that good of a deal but still got a good one…i currently have 2 of the 3 on carrot stix rods. Waiting for the wife to “let” me buy another carrot stik….love those rods….anyway, you will love that PT
Got mine in, spooled it up and took it out. Casts very well. Did not catch a fish with it yet so can’t speak for the drag. Can say that it looks and feels extremely high quality, a great deal for sure. I am with foofer on the mistake of only ordering one - the rebate is over with now.
even though the rebate is gone at $99 i think its a good reel… Myself is a hardcore Quantum guy, never had one issue out of any Quantum reel ive baught… so that makes me a loyal customer… i grew up on Quantum and have always been told theyre the best… and so therefore i believe that… and if you pass up buying a $190 reel for $70 youre a plain ole’ idiot in my book, or you just hate Quantum’s….
