While I have not used the Basstrix Swimbaits, I am currently sponsored by Ghost Baits, and the swimbaits that Jim O’Conner produces are awesome.  The colors that he can come up with are sweet, especially the bluegill pattern.  I had a 4 lbs. 4 oz. bass come off a bed and attack this very swimbait as it was twitched across the top of the water, above her bed.  I did manage to get a hook into her, but she shook the lure and I eventually caught it on a Zoom Super Fluke that was sitting in the bed for a long time.

He makes two variations of swimbaits.........one being the one mentioned above and the other is a wake-style swimbait, although I have tinkered around with them and used them through the water column.

To check out these swimbaits and the rest of the line of soft plastics Jim has, go to http://www.ghostbaits.com Tell him that John from Georgia sent ya!

Im glad you posted that, i may get a bag or 2 of a few items, i like the color choices and fact that can be custom. I have gotten a check in last 5 of 8 tournaments but fishing smaller lakes with same baits and colors wont last long once everyone starts throwing same things.

Not a problem.  I am glad that I can put anglers onto lures that I have high confidence in and that I know will catch fish.  Jim is really good at matching up colors that you specify.  The bluegill pattern was a set of colors that another angler sent to him and he nailed it.

Check out the Murder Minnows as well.  I have caught a LOT of bass off of those.

i was looking at swimbaits and will look more into them, but mostly intetested in 10” worms for summer, beaver type baits....i flip those instead of a jig. in the winter i carolina rig trick works, centipeds and senko baits, all straith tail do nothing worms. he has a large color selection and with a lil experimenting i can find colors that work better than whats here now.

TY Again.

When i do contact or order ill tell em ya sent me.
