does anybody else get this same question from your family members everytime you buy or look at a new rod or reel.  they just dont understand…

I my girlfriend lives with me, and she ALWAYS tells me that, I act like I dont hear her and go get another LOLOLOL!!!!!

Ha, I dont hear it from my girlfriend. She actually supports my fishing. But I do hear it from my parents. I just tell them there is far worse ways to spend money.

Well, if its your parents just say “would you rather i spend my money on alcohol and go party, or spend it on fishing?” Seems to work for me.

Yeah, my wife always says"are you about done buying fishing stuff for a while”...no..not yet

i’ve only been bass fishing a little while now so im tryin to get stocked up on a lot of lures/plastics etc so ive heard it non stop for the past months i just tell them i could be out buying crack or buying lures lol

My wife never bothers me about it, she knows my passion for fishing. My mother on the other hand always has to comment on my collection. I tell her that after I stocked the Bar and Kegerator, then got the Meth lab built, fishing gear is the only thing I have to spend my money on.

My girlfriend tells me that all the time...."you got enough stuff!” I have no idea what enough means. I ask her the same question when she comes home every two weeks with a new bottle of shampoo and conditioner. “Oh, my hair stylist says to change brands every couple of weeks, it better for your hair” I told her that her stylist must be a fisherman, cuz they same theory applies. She told me I was full of it. Yeah.
