What energy drinks to ya’ll like? What taste best…they can get fairly expensive. Do you do any of the small bottles (example “5 hour Energy”)?

At $2.99 a pop, 5 hour energy can get quite expensive. But if you cant get yourself woken up on tourny day, they can come in handy.

I like the orange flavor of 5 hour energy.

dont like ANY of them….they dont give u energy!!

I pesonaly drink alot of these, I normaly buy at least one a night to wake myself up before work. Gotta love the 3rd shift warriors. My favorite is probably Red Bull but its way to high priced, my 2nd choice is Rock Star, followed by Monster and if I have to or if they are on sale I’ll drink Amp. I dont recommend it for fishing purpose’s. But if your ever out try a Red Bull and some Jagermeister or just go to a bar and ask for a Jagerbomb. Dont be scared they taste as good as a Rattlesnake but alot more potent. Also I think alot of people have a misunderstanding to energy drinks, for 1 they wont work a miricale if you have little to no sleep a engery drink isnt going to give you any kind of boost unless you drink a 12 pack. Also, I think when people drink these they expect to be wired for sound when in reality it has little to no affect on most people but from my experience they will keep you more alert. If your on the water for a long tournament I do think these could keep you more alert if the action is slow. But then on the flip side seems like even when you hook into that 2-3lber you get a nice solid adreline boost and are ready go. I should add, the main reason I drink these is because I love the taste. All of the engery drinks I drink except for Amp give me the feel of what I experienced when I drank alot of Ice House beer. In the effect that you can almost taste all the diffrent elements inside the can. Neither would I call a smooth drink and thats what I like.

i drink alot of energy drinks currently my favorite is Monsters M-80 buti like the Monster original and i also like Amp and Full throttle..now i do not buy them to wake me up just because they do not work for me.

I used to drink this stuff call Red Jak…dont know if its a midwest thing or not…but got them at hyvee for .99….cheap, thats why i bought them.  Other than that i get whatever could be on sale.  Sometimes the local gas station will have a 2 for $3 thing going on rockstar or monster.  I am not a fan of amp, just cause of the taste.  As for jagerbombs….i drink those as a drink…actually drank over a bottle of jager last saturday, then went out on the river at 6 am….felt a little funny, but i dropped 3 asprin, a coke and took 4 powerades with me….in about an hour i was good to go…

amp does have a bad after taste thats why i like to stick more with monster

i buy the lil packets of powder that i mix with bottled water, its called power edge. its really hard to tell what kind of energy a drink gives you, but i do know with power edge if i drink 1 in evening, i cant sleep and am not tired, so it must be doing some of what its supposed to do.

I used to drink Redbull and Amp but now have switched to just plain ol water and gatorade.  I do drink alot of Vault too.

It review the drinks and rank the “energy level” of each drink. It is amazing how many are out there. I have seen so many in the gas stations, I might just grab a couple to see what the do. I am the third shifter too.

Boy I rember the days of drinking large quanitys of jager. We use to call it Jesus Juice because we felt it got you pretty close to him. The worst I ever got on it was at a concert a buddys band was playing. By the time the night was over the lead guitarist, vocalist and myself went through 4 5ths of Jager…..Can you say Porcellin God?

Either a Full Throttle (by Coke) or Monster Chaos, one of those to start my trip off and Im good to go

Red bull….(with Grey Goose vodka). Had about 7 of them saturday night after a 12 pack of Bud Light and a fish fry and a poker game. Payed my dues for it on Sunday though…. Still going strong at age 35! Can only handle that once a month. Rockstar! and not the drink, like the song..‘party like a rockstar’

Energy drinks make me crash horribly, not a good thing when your on the water. But Vault does the trick for me, along with chocolate. After that, i “GET TO IT” ha ha

Red Bull and Amp Overdrive are my favorites.  I don’t like the regular Amp….just the Amp Overdrive(the red can).  I can only drink them every once in a while.  They used to have hardly any effect at all on me, but it seems like now they get me extremely wired to the point that I can’t sit still!  Almost given up on ‘em!
