You can find the AOY standings on both bassmaster.com and bassfan.com and yes KVD is still in the lead but Todd Faircloth is just 12 points behind.  I think it will be close but KVD will come away with the title.  Finishing second last year made him want the title even more in my opinion.

2 lakes to go.
KVD has slim advantage in points.
This is a big week. Erie is going be be tough with the weather forecast.
There are only a few anglers that can actually win it at this point.
90% of the field are out of the race.

he had a 16 point lead before Erie, shows 41 behind right now. I wouldnt say its done, if the positions were swapped in next event his lead will be regained.

Its the year of close finishes Bret Ehler finished just 1 point behind David Dudley for the FLW AOY, that had to suck.  KVD and Todd Faircloth should be a great battle at Oneida.  21 points are not much.

Oh man who to route for??? I was born and raised in MI but have lived in Texas for almost four years. And my 2 favorite pros fighting for the title, I wish them both luck!

Do I really have to deploy again to afford a new boat? Yep :(
My next deployment will buy me a new Triton TR-20X HP with a 225 Merc!
Amazing what a guy will put up with for a new bass boat!
