The name is Matt I’m from the middle Tennessee area.
You’ll find me fishing every chance I get usually on
Kentucky lake or Lake Barkley and the Cumberland river
area including the Cheatham reservoir.

Oh and of course I’m big fan of KVD!

Looks like thee is a great bunch of people here.

When I was stationed at Ft. Campbell I use to fish both Kentucky and Barkley and spent some quality time at Cheatham dam.  I also went to a little place called Crossed Creeks Wildlife Refuge in Dover they had a great little pond seperated from I believe it was Barkley but a small drain into it they had some big bass and even bigger catfish.  My wife caught her personal best of 8 lbs 4 ozs still beats mine.  I wonder is Papa Rocks bait shop still out on 79 near Barkley.  I also used to fish out of Paris Landing alot while my wife hung out at the beach.  Man I love that area and miss it alot.

Great to have you on board have fun and I’m sure I will be talking to you more about the great area of Mid. Tenn. and the lakes.

Welcome to the site.

The bass club I used to fish had their national championship a couple years ago down at Kentucky Lake.  I never made into the lake (we launched from Paducah, Kentucky) but rather stayed in the Ohio River and tributaries.

I don’t know Papa Rocks bait shop but that doesn’t mean it’s not still there. I fished near Cross Creeks a couple of weekends ago at a place called Lick Creek just on the outside of Dover TN.

Again thanks for all the welcomesl
