I hate using glass for crankbaits and was wondering what your thoughts are on this issue? Do you prefer glass or graphite for crank baits?

Thanks

I have a couple 7’ graphite/glass composite rods I love to throw smaller cranks on. But when Im fishing a larger body bait I use a 7’ M graphite rod.

I like to graphite when I can but with said all my crankbait rods are compostite rods and I do like them too, I don’t seem to loose as many fish but I do loose some sensitivity and thats the only thing I don’t like about them.  For the big deep diving baits I like the 7’ MH and for the smaller baits I use the 7’ M.  Now for all my shallow running crankbaits like the series 1, 1XS and 4XS from Strike king or the Lucky Craft BDS 2 or 3 I like to a 7’ M graphite rod.  Helps me feel branches and other stuff under the water.
