Here is a poll from a glass boat guy who has always wanted a second “special situations” boat .....a nice aluminum rig.

There are loads of nice aluminum boats out there. What one would you own ?
My vote goes to Lund....but AlumaCraft is a close second.

i like the aluminum bass boat tracker has. it looks like it performs pretty well on the water and has everything you need to fish tournaments.. it wont have the hole shot but it will do…

tracker does make some pretty neat aluminum style bass boats.

The two best times to be fishing is when its rainin’ and when it ain’t.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.  Teach him how to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Men and fish are alike.  They both get into trouble when they open their mouths.

I already liked G3, and since its a Yamaha company i liked it even more, but something that caught my attention is when i sent and e-mail to the main company asking a question about thier bots, i got an almost immediate, detailed and polite reply. Customer service is a big plus.

I would have voted, but Lowe was not included as a choice.  Used to own a 2005 Tracker PT175 w/50hp Merc, but sold it, and now own a 2008 Lowe 1652VT Roughneck, and fish all-electric waters locally.  No more main motor to winterize!  cool smile

My father-in-law had a G3, I loved that boat almost as much as my Skeeter.  It had a big and roomy deck, lots of storage and big rod lockers.  Only thing I didn’t like and what I don’t like about all aluminum rigs is they only have 12 volt systems for the trolling motor.  Up here on the great lakes you really need a 24 volt system at the least.  Other than that it handled Lake Erie on most days but I wouldn’t take it out on waves over 3-4 foot.

I have a 96 ranger cherokee. its a 17’ 9” aluminum deep-V. The hull is the same as a crestliner but the interior is done by ranger and looks like a bass boat kind of.
