I’m rolling with a Dodge Nitro.  It does the trick.  No issues with it at all.  Plenty of power.

I use a 6.0L GMC Yukon Denali to haul my bass boat and a 97 GMC Yukon to haul the jon boat. I really would like a smaller S10 pickup for the jon boat. Something easier on gas!

I’ll reply to my own post….

I tow with a white 2006 Ford F150 SuperCrew Lariat.

I love my truck. So does my yellow lab Lucy, and my Black Ranger boat.!!

I tow my Nitro 170 DC with my 2007 Toyota Tundra Double Cab easily with the 5.7 Liter V8.  For the record, the Tundra is not an import.  It’s made in the USA!

It’s a very sweet truck but make no mistake…..it’s an import.  It’s not who builds it, but where the money goes that you pay for the truck. The money goes to Japan.
US workers may build it, but the main economic benefit goes to Japan.

Let’s be fair now.  You know not all of that money goes back to Japan.  I agree that some of it does, but they’ve invested billions of dollars here in the United States employing Americans.  That was my reason for not marking the Tundra as a true import.  Import meaning built outside of the USA.  We could go on and on about this.  You have your opinion and I have mine.  I didn’t mean to stir the pot.  I just wanted to give you my interpretation of the term “Import”.
