I have fished each one of the lakes listed multiple times. Most I have fished over 10 times.
In my mind, Lake of the Woods is king. But that is just one guy’s opinion. I too like fishing LM bass (Toho is my favorite)....but there are so many other species to test your skills at Lake of the Woods. One day you can leave your lodge and target Walleye and catch multiple 30 inchers !! Then on day 2, test your skills looking for giant 50+ inch Muskies, and 40+ inch Northerns. The next look for 5 pound smallmouth or even big largemouth.
No other water can claim being a world class fishery in ALL these.
