yeah i really like the powerpro braid with the frogs, you can cast em a mile and you can get a great hookset when the fish smashes the frog. glad to see the line worked for you good though. keep using the frog and you will be very pleased with the fish it will produce. the hard part is just getting to know how to fish the frog right in different areas.

As you can tell from my log in name I’m from Alabama.I fish Guntersville Lake 95% of the time.I thouught I knew alot about bass fishing but the more I fish the more I find out I don’t.Therefore I’m going to start asking alot of questions.I hope everyone can help.Pease everybodys info welcome.First question- How do you fish the channel ledge?

I don’t care how good an angler is. The best never quit learning.

The boat don’t make the fisherman, only the time spent on the water will!

I have a 1988 skeeter with a very hot 140hp that has been punched out to a 162hp.It needs alot of work which Iam currently doing.Right know I am fishing out of a friends 16’ Basstracker for tournaments..My skeeter boatmotor needs a triger for the stater,it went out .It’s only 240.00 to replace but with Christmas coming around I’m going to what till it passes to fix.My friends boat does very well right now besides the last tournament is 10/25/08,so it’ll do.My wife said in a year or two were getting a new one.I guess I married a good one. She’s one of a kind, she can fish with the best of themand my son is coming along as well.As for my boat,no GPS but I’ll have one before next year.
