Yeah, thatll work too, i don’t know, to me google earth is the best at this, because most ponds stand out, you can really find some hidden ones the google earth way.

google earth is really nice but actually flashearth.com is 10 times better. you can zoom in more and see stuff in better deffinition. the only down side is it wont tell you what is private land vs state land

If your a member of Bassinsider you can use there bass log and get information on what normal every day people were catching them on what type of cover and use it for yourself so you can look back on how you did that day a year later or more.

The two best times to be fishing is when its rainin’ and when it ain’t.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.  Teach him how to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Men and fish are alike.  They both get into trouble when they open their mouths.

Perris lake which use to own the spotted bass world record at 9.4 and 17 or 18lb large mouth DVL records are over 17 lbs also Perris lake is about twenty minutes east from corona. They blue stoned the lake last week and the bite was off from the previous week. the bite is picking up and the average boat is limiting with about 9.5 lbs per. top five will be over 15 every week one bag two week ago was 25lbs. not in a tournament tough!! Swimbait time is about two weeks away in a big way you can get followers right now but they are very picky on this late ass summer trip they have been on. It has been tough out there. I wish we could take our boats out to DVL. You also could run up to Silverwood about a 35 minute run north. If you like Hybrid strippers you can Rat-l-Trap them at Lake Elsinore about 15 minutes south that is some hot dirty water down there and with the santa ana winds and the 95 degree heat that they were talking about on the news I would sit out this week end if you never fished at these places before. and wait for the next week end or if you are like me and love punishment you’ll throw the kitchen sink this week end. Good Luck. What happens at KVD headquarters stays at KVD headquarters. To many guys out here (Cali) think they know it all with there lawyer income and top of the line gadgets and can’t catch squat. Keep it simple learn the lures you throw know there limitations and slow it down we have a lot more pressure than others do here where we live. A lake like Perris with 50 boats is like a 1000 (no joke) on Lake Eufaula, Ok. Pressure here will kill you, mentally

jenks lake for trout, never done it!  Big bear slow and small and getting cold quick!  For shore fishing right now do DVL. One of the Best fisheries in the country.  Compared to Lake Fork, Falcon, Clear Lake, and Casitas,  DVL is all that!  Off the shore the paper said today that 6 and 7 pounders are coming in with swim baits and I think I mentioned the cat that was caught two weeks ago that weighed 40 something that had more than ten trout in its stomach. DFG has made several trout plants the past few weeks out there and if you want a big one now is your chance!  in order around where we live I would do DVL, Casitas, Perris, Castaic, and Hodges for fall big fish.  Did I say DVL Less than 30 minutes from Corona….
