The two best times to be fishing is when its rainin’ and when it ain’t.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.  Teach him how to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Men and fish are alike.  They both get into trouble when they open their mouths.

Here’s my take on this one. My favorite lipless crank (or any other bait for that matter) today may not be my favorite tomorrow.

I like to carry a couple different brands and sizes (especially the lipless cranks). Each manufacturer has their own unique characteristics. The tone of one bait today may drive them nuts but tomorrow it may send them running the other way BUT the lipless bite may still be on, they may just want something slightly different.

In my lipless crankbait arsenal, I carry RatLTraps, Super Spots, Red Eye Shads, Rattlin Raps and Bill Norman’s. When the conditions call for me to throw them, I’ll experiment to see which one works the best on that day.

Rat-l-trap- I wish Berkley would bring back the 1/2 lip 1/2 plastic tail back in the power bait line. Anyone have any to sell?

gotta go with the red eye shad because you can burn it, yo-yo it, rip it, and every technique there is and it wiggles like a senko which means bass cant resist it

I like the red eyes, lucky craft LV’s, BPS XPS rattle shad, and SPRO’s akuru shad.
