What reel should I get, the Quantum energy pt or tour edition?

I like both of them because they weight the same and they both have a high 7:1 and 7.1:1 gear ratio. I dont like the energy pt because it doesn’t come in a left handed 7:1 model and I dont like the tour edition because it costs $240.  Does any one own both of these reels and can tell me which is better?

This is a really hard one but i think tour editon is the way to go.
but that is just my opionin

if you can get over the cost get the tour edition! I useded one yesterday and it felt really good!

for the extra money it is worth it!
but they are both good reels

instead of buying it at some tackle shop you can buy it at BPS and get a $50 gift check and think of it as you got the tour edition at the same price as the other. That’s what my wife does with her purses, ha!...

Please do some more homework before you waste too much money on 1 reel or rod….

Well the Energy does come in a 7-1 right hand only.I tell you what the Energy is just as good a reel as the Tour,just not as many bearings.Get on e-bay and you can find both reels at way below what you can get them in the store.

Tour Ed. is a nice reel. It has more bearings than the Energy does. Energy is also a sweet reel. I own both models but, I guess it’s all about how much bread you have in your wallet. After using both and considering the money spent, I will still buy the energy.
