Havent been on here in a good while. Thought Id just give a basic shout out. First of the year I lost my job, the factory I was working at announced they was closing the doors just a week after I took and passed my physical and drug test to go full-time. Ive been looking pretty hard for a new job since then but so far no luck. However, last week I did get a interview at Hooters. Calm down its for a cook, dont have to worry about me in a small white t and John Stockton shorts. Have to give that a few more days see what happens with it. Ive had a few other drama filled issues going on but I wont get into that. Just wanted to basicaly touch base with some of the greatest forum guys I know. Cant wait till it gets a little warmer and these fish start spawning.

same here…sorry, seems like it’s happening everywere lately, I’ve just ben able to stay afloat here lately, I thought I was going to loose everything, but I did manage to find some work noone else wanted to mess with.

Yep, lost mine last year…twice…in 3 months.  I was off for about 7 months.  Everything sucks all over.  I just started back at the plant I used to work at over a year ago.  I work in the Quality department in a food plant.  Even this place was pretty slow for a few months but now it is 6 or 7 days a week.  Ive only had one day off this month…that sucks but it beats not working…..well…kinda….

A buddy of mine works at a big company that made 500 million IN PROFIT for the quarter ending in September last year.  Immediately after that quarter, they laid off 1600 people. They were not losing money….they only made 500 million in profit FOR 3 MONTHS !

Something is wrong there…something bad !

Good to see you on the forum again Miller. Sorry to hear about your job, hope that hooters job opens up for you.  I lost my job last summer working at a factory not even a mile from my house. I was working through a temp agency so there wanst any job security at all. It sucks not having any money of my own right now but I guess the most important thing right now is my college GPA. Hopefully after the semester is over I can get a job.

Whats up Miller-Time. Hooters huh? And which Hooters will I be coming to for free wings? lol
