I guess the biggest question now will be who had it easier? UNC or the Lady Huskies of Uconn. As a fan of Louisville Id love to see the girls pull a upset, but I dont follow womens hoops. I think Uconn beat those girls twice by a average of nearly 20 pts. But then again who havent those girls beat by a average of 20 pts.
Lady Huskies have it easier and have all year. Not to take away from their accomplishment, I’ve been a Lady Huskie fan since the days of Rebecca Lobo, I just think UNC had a tougher road to travel. This years Lady Huskies team is one for the ages and wont be duplicated for quite some time. They will beat L’ville by 22 tonite.
Yea, those poor girls. But honestly if by some miracle they pull off the upset. Would it be the womens version of NC State? I know they are only a 3 seed but it seems like you normaly have 1vs1 or 1vs2 in the womens final. And normaly it seems like you know whos going to win it before it starts. I dont really follow it honestly I find womens hoops boreing. I’ll be watch NCIS….lol
I will check it out but wont watch the whole thing, Rescue Me is on tonite. And no, if they beat UConn it wont be the equiv. of NC State. L’ville is good wasnt a dark horse by any means.
As far as womens hoops go..I think the top 2 or 3 teams have it real easy every year. I dont even know how many teams have went undefeated in the last 10 years in womens basketball, too many if you ask me. Mens will have an extrememly hard time to do that. The best teams usually have 2-4 losses in a season.
I do believe I said the Lady Huskies would win by 22, I think I did. :D Shocked to see myself hit it on the button. And XRanger, you are pretty right, the women do have easy but still can get upended by a team or two. But if want a solid coach to play for, UConns coach is unreal. Heck, they have 3 of the 5 perfect seasons in womens bball.
I actually forgot about the game till I saw this thread…..oooops…..lol. Ive been watching alot of that MLB network….Ive always been a fan on Harold Reynolds, and when they team him up with Barry Larkin its just great.
And just think…the best female basketball player in the country quit their team.
I think everyone that is good just goes to UCONN. Im not taking anything away from the coach. But, that school pretty much gets the top 10 females in the country every year. Like I said, the best player in the country never even stepped on the court for them this year.
