This planet is covered with men who demand that he who spends time fishing shall show returns in fish.

Somebody just back of you while you are fishing is as bad as someone looking over your shoulder while you write a letter to your girl.

Grand Rapids area, MI We had cold rain and 20-30 mph winds.  We haven’t had a decent day yet this year.  If the temp breaks 50 degrees, the winds are blowing 20-25. If its calm, it’s bluebird skies and 30 degrees.  I’m curious as to what the fish will be doing when the season opens.  The water might still be in the 40’s then.

One more fish, then I’ll come home.

I think the fish here in MI are still in hibernation…...But I do know that almost every morning that the flats are pretty full out on gun lake.  I went by Lake Allegan Sunday and seen a few smallies jumping up by the damn.
