I noticed he was doing some buttering up stories on TT about tackle he had & sold & was reacquiring for “nostalgic reasons”. One thing that was always common about the things he talks about selling on forums, he always sold it somewhere other than the forum he is on & he never goes into specifics. He is seriously the most pathetic person I’ve ever seen on internet forums & considering some of the pathetic idiots I’ve seen online, that’s quite the accomplishment. Good job Jake.

It’s a shame one our members got scamed by this piece of scum. The fishing community is made up of a lot of really great people. It’s easy to forget scum can be anywhere. I don’t know if there are any safeguards on our site but I feel safe trading on ebay. I always check the sellers feedbacks and I always pay thru Paypal. I have say they have alway came thru anytime I experienced any problems.
for angler Hi and all his fellow servicemen I say thanks and you have my graditude for a job well done. I would like to offer any of the returning servicemen who find themselves near Portland Oregon to get in touch and we’ll spend a day on the water outsmarting bass(well trying to anyway). Along time ago I did a couple of tours in Vietnam and understand the sacrifices made for all of us by our military.

So glad to say I haven’t had to deal with anyone like this person. I’ve already worked with 2 people in the forum and both have been way above par, both in honesty and quickness. I hope they feel the same way about me. This is a sport where you never find a bad person, granted some are a little ,Off myself included, we forget there are bad people out there.hope this was a limited situation.
