i live in pennsylvania and the susquhanna river has been clear of ice for a while now. most of the ponds around here are thawed but not the lakes :( . Going fishing in for the first time this weekend (forcast of a high of 55 and rain all day :( ) but atleast im getting out there. its been 4 months sinced i fished last and i coped by watching the basspros, tying lures onto my rods and then taking them off just to tie another one on in 2 min, and just wandering around the local bass pro shop ( my parents think i have problems lol). ive never been so happy for spring.

i like it when ever our river gets nice and muddy and the river rises a couple of feet. most people hate that but i like all of the targets that the flooded islands present. the smallmouth move up into the flodded brush and i cast either chart. and white or black spinnerbaits to them.
