Yes he got married this past fall to his long time girlfriend Becky.  They met at an ICAST a couple of years ago and they have been together every since.  He has two girls from his previous marriage.

The Abu SX is the same as the STX, just a little lighter in price.

Ike really hasnt calmed down that much…he was biting fish at the Classic!!!

I know that needing sponsors is huge in this sport. But every sport needs the over the top characters. Ike happens to be that cat on the Elite Series and as long as he’s contending I dont think he’ll have any issues having major sponsors. He probably has calmed down some but everyone calms downs some as they get older. I mean would you guys really want to see Ike acting like KVD? Thats not a nock of either angler, but I think thats about as night and day as you can get. NASCAR is a sport that relys heavily on outside sponsorships as well. And just look at guys like Jimmy Spencer and Tony Stewart. Spencer broke Kurt Buschs nose and kept a sponsor till he wasnt contending for wins any longer then lands a nice gig at Speed Channel. Smoke hit a camera man paid his dues and now the 2-time champion has his own race team. And I’ll bet as soon as BPS contract runs out with EGI Racing you will see Smoke in the #14 BPS car regardless. Same thing for Ike, he could climb onto Skeets boat the two could throw a few jabs and what not. And even if Abu and pure dropped him I bet it wouldnt be long before someone like Shimano, Ardent, hell maybe even Quantum would be knocking on his door. As long as Ike is contending he’ll have sponsors.

you all need to stop watching reruns and take Ike off the National Enquirer! Just got back from Clear lake and Ike was the best and most fun with all the spectators from 2 years to 82 year olds. Class act!! wish I could say half were as nice but can’t! diversified portfolio it is. Bass Cat, Yamaha, Toyota, Dick’s, VS channel, and it goes on even that funny looking hazard light lure Being more of a Ike fan than a Skeet Fan I would not put my money on Mike over Skeet in a brawl! Mike is maybe 130 wet Just wish Kev wouldn’t of High tailed it out of town. We did get his John Hancock for the tackle Shop with RC, Kenyon, Crews, Ike and 50 others. If anyone here ever gets to Clear-Lake hit up Clear Lake Outdoors before hitting the Water. would hate to see go out with out the proper swim-baits
