so guys i finally got out. most of the ice was melted at one of the ponds i fish… first cast i hook into one with a jig but i guess not good enough, he got off like right next to me. i got bit like 5 times but i guess i wasnt setting the hook hard enough or at the right time cause i never got one on land. the bites came off a quarter ounce black/blue jig and a small black with blue flake trailer and a red and black 4 in shaky head.  but it felt SOO good to be out on that pond again. i was getting pretty tired of morgan for real.

Why do you have to post that kind of stuff?!?!?! cheese  I am going crazy not being able to get out. I am glad my hair is short to where I can’t pull it out cuz I would have no hair if it was longer.

Seriously, reading your post makes me want drive over you house with all my fishing stuff right now.  I still have two and a half month of ice fishing on the hard water before I can make a cast in open water.

Count me in amongst the jealous. I keep organizing & re-organizing my tackle, playing with my rods & reels, I’m so ready to do some fishing. Hopefully at some point in March I’ll be able to hit the ponds here & I plan on hitting them a lot harder this spring than last year.

Yeah cabin fever is setting in big time,  I keep buying lures too to help but if it keeps going like it is I will be broke by ice out.

I second that, maybe we should get a sniper on stand by. A little threat may go along way in what he can see and cant see.
