I’ve read alot about the shad spawn, but i think most of it is geared towards threadfin shad. Are theyre in noticable differences between gizzard shad spawns and threadfin shad spawns and how to fish them?

Threadfins are much more numerous. Bass target that spawn heavily.
Bass will always target a shad spawn. Peak shad spawn is always on the full moon. Typically the next full moon of the peak of the bass spawn.
