Thought I’d give you guys first crack at this.  I bought a new boat and have to sell this one

50 HP Merc 2 stroke
30 lbs Minn Kota Trolling motor
I’m the 3rd owner and had if for 2 years bought it cuz I was sure how much I’d use it
Turns out I used it and loved fishing I took good care of it and spent 99.5% time on trolling motor
Motor has low hours but no idea how many

Asking $5500.00 OBO SOLD
Boat is in Kalamazoo Mi at this tim

Irony is the trouble I have is being fair…I have 3 guys that want to see it this evening and the are coming from all points of the compass.  So if I sell it to the first guy the other 2 might be an hours into the drive to see it….I was forced to tell them all the boat will NOT be sold until 6:15 tonight… after that it should be interesting

These long distance sales sometimes can be tricky. If you put off one buyer, waiting for another guy who is coming a long way, it may backfire.

I had a guy come from Arizona to Chicago (where I used to live) to buy my last Ranger (520).
He drove through an ice storm in Kansas to get to Chi-town !!  I told him I would hold it if he sent me a deposit of $500.  If he came, and did not like the boat, I’d give him back the money. However/...If I held it for him to see, and he did not show up….the $500 was not refundable.
It worked out OK, but it could have been bad if he did not show. I held it for him, even though a couple other guys wanted to buy it as well.

One guy showed up at 6:21 the other dude was there and hour before…..6:20 boat was sold felt bad for other guy but what can ya do
