Obviously KVD won the BMC on Gold, and Gold Sexy Shad colored SK Red Eye Shads, But did anyone recognize what lipless bait Jeff Kriet was using?

I think he said at the weigh-in that he was using 3 different kinds, including a Red Eye.  Or maybe that was someone else.  I don’t remember. 

I liked Ike getting finesse on ‘em though.  6lb Fluoro, spinning gear, and a 4inch Berkley Ripple Shad? Seriously?

Ike is sick when it comes to finesse gear. I was kinda hoping he’d pull out a magical sack on day 3 but it just didnt happen.

I would say for the time and conditions, pulling a solid 11lbs on finesse gear is kind of magical.  I was hoping someone would do something big working finesse gear or jigs, but that Red Eye and other lipless cranks just overpowered everything else.  It was pretty crazy.  Makes me want to fish lipless cranks a lot more this year.

Same with everyone else in america.. this classic made strike king a million dollars in redeyes easily

I think Kreit switched off with a Sebile lipless because it had a more subtle sound.

Kriet was using a Sebile Flatt Shad and he mentioned another bait but wouldn’t say the name or brand.  Ike was using the Beatdown by Laser Lure.  Todd Faircloth was also using the Sebile Flatt Shad.

I thought I saw Kreit use a red Red Eye Shad. Looked like the nose was beat up a bit.

That was probably the lure he wouldn’t name.

It is supposed to b open to the market sometime this summer according to TW.

I was reading an article on kriets classic last night. The red beat up one was a yo zuri lipless i think. And like twich said he switched up to a sebile and he also threw some red eyes. I think thats all he mentioned but he said he was basically throwing all kinds of lipless.

The one I saw was definitely a red, red eye shad with the nose beat up… The yo zuri has a white or silver eye and a thinner rear end.

I saw the silver Yo-Zuri rattlin vibe hanging off the side of Kriets boat.  I didn’t see him using a red eye but I did see Lane using a silver or white red eye.
