From what I read it was like this:

KVD: Redeye and diamond shad, but almost exclusively the red eye, in Chrome sexy shad, and gold sexy shad.

Kriet: Mainly sebile and Yo-Yuri but fished a variety of baits to produce all different sounds and vibrations.

Faircloth: Exclusively Sebile, because it is able to be work just a little slower than the rest.

Don’t quote me on the above but I think I can remember reading that.

That is a yo zuri but thats not the one I seen.. he was landing a fish on day 3 when I seen it and only a small protion of the nose was beat up.

The red bait you saw Kriet throw on TV was the Yozuri

Yep said he painted it himself.  He just had an article on bassfan.com said he was using a 7’2” Falcon rod MH and used 2 baits the Yozuri that he painted and a Sebile Flatt Shad.

I’m going to keep a close eye on the reruns

Thanks for the link Stevens. That looks like the bait I saw but I don’t know. I just thought the one I saw wasn’t quite that beat.

A tad off subject here but did you guys notice Ike was throwing a blade bait? I caught a glimpse of it on espn the other day, I didnt even think pro’s used them anymore now that a lipless does basically the same thing.

Does anyone know what type of line and what diameter KVD used in the classic?

yup just watched it agian it was a yo zuri. I sat a little closer to the 52”

All that proves is I need glasses…..lol
