Any lead pourers here?

Hows the bottom pour lee production pot IV 10lb?

I just bought a production pot IV (lead), a jig head mold, and 1000 hooks. Gonna push out 1000 walleye jigs here next week! Hope its as fun as plastics but not quite as addicting. I cant support two of these hobbies LOL

I got the one that hold 20 lbs of lead, but you gotta make sure that you scoop off the brown stuff on the top of the lead or it will clog the spout that the lead comes out of.

We use the 20lb pot as well. Makes pouring so much easier.

I have the 10lb and do well by it. You should enjoy years of fun with it. Good luck!

ive ben pouring lead for over 12 years…plastics for about 8 years….if you have any questions just shoot me a pm…im on my 3rd 10 lbs lee pot… i also have a 20 lb lee pot….i like the 10 lb pots better….to make pouring easier use a candle & smoke your mold…also use a paper clip in the pour spoat to open up the flow…..with the 10 lb pot you can also use a drill & open up the pouring spoat…..
