How the heck did you powder paint those?

After heating the bodies I use a small spoon to spoon the powder paint onto the body, after I have the main coat I use a small paint brush.  Dip the paint brush into the powder then tap the excess onto the bait where you want it to go.  You have to be careful of overrun or dusting on the rest of the body but you can get around that by setting up a small box and cutting a hole out big enough to fit a shop vac hose into so when you are powder painting you can turn it on and the shop vac will suck up any excess powder keeping it from dropping onto what you are painting.

IT TAKES TIME AND MONEY TO MARKET A BAIT AND HARD TO GET IT STARTED ON THE MARKET BUT ONCE IT HITS AND PAYS OFF WITH FISH THEN COMES THE MONEY AND A LOT OF IT. I HOPE YOU MAKE IT SOMEDAY. THAT IS JUST THE WAY A LOT OF BAIT MANUFACTURERS STARTED OUT.
GOOD LUCK

I just put the finishing touches on these.  I powder painted the heads with 3 colors Purple Haze I used a holographic powder paint for the body candy purple for the back and candy red for the throat.  Gill I used a dark melon for the body candy purple of the back and candy red for the throat.  I used a clear epoxy to finish off the baits.

hey q i love that purplehaze look that looks like one sweet bait. what conditions are you using that for?
