I have a 6’ 10” med heavy baitcaster set up that I was using for lipless cranks, but I replaced it with a 7 foot mh vendetta and a new energy. I like the Rod and don’t want to put it away. What else can I use it for? I was thinking maybe chatterbaits and swimmin jigs? any other ideas? I have all my rods set up for everything else. I just don’t want to leave this one alone, I really like it.

Sounds like you like you already have a good idea for it,  but may I also suggest as a spinnerbait rod.  I have the Quantum KVD signature PT rod 6’10” and it works great for spinnerbaits but I also throw chatterbaits and swim jigs with it too.

Another suggestion is just keep it ready and avaiable incase you have a tip break or something and need a back up fast.

That is a useful rod. There are a few things it can be used for. Skirted baits/jigs and pitching soft plastics would be my choices. A lot of guys use a 6’9 for their worm rods….so you may even drag a worm/lizard with your 6’10.

That would be one of the most versitale rods. You can basically use it for just about anything.

KVD said something about using a 6’6-6’10 for spinnerbaits so you can cast them up under docks and brush easily. I’d look into that if you like to beat the banks with a blade.

Deep water football jigs seem like a good pattern for a rod like that.

I have 2 6’10"mh fast action Crucials that I primarily use for Swim Jigs, but the rod has also been excellent for buzzbaits and chatterjigs.  It would make a good rod for spooks, med weight bass jigs and texas rigged plastics.  In a pinch last year I used it for topwater poppers, but the rod was maybe a hair to stiff to be ideal for that application.

Could I use it for C-rigs? I know people like 7 foot at the least, and heavy action…but I think I could get away with this rod..what’s your input?

Yeah, that rod would be good for c-rigs. To be honest, the longer and heavier the rod the better off you are with a c-rig because it helps you drive the hook home despite deep water, long casts, and the heavy weight. But you’ll still do fine with it, just really make sure you set the hook hard.
