I was reading today that only the top 47 Elites got to advance to Day 3. I always thought it was the top 50 then the top 12? Whats up with this? Heck if you check the bass tracker(still no weights today) it says top 50 advance to day 3 and top 12 to final day. So is it the top 50 or just the top half the the entered contestants?

I saw that too..not sure what is going on.  Maybe they went top 50 before when there was 100 boats-thus 50% of field.  That is the only thing I can think of.

Or maybe everything is a little screwed up..LOL

Because the field is smaller only 98 Elite anglers this year they are cutting to 47 for day 3 then 12 for day 4.
