I’ll probably get out this weekend guys. But, we’ll see how it goes because the water temps are still in the 40’s….

can still catch them in that water!!!!  Im going to try to sneek in a couple hours on sunday if possible.  Tied up all day saturday with the boys’ hunter safety class.

Bass don’t open in MN until May 29th.

Caught six this weekend. None measured up though. they were all around 13.5” so sorry about that guys, I was hoping to get some points for us….

Bass don’t open in MN until May 29th.

May 29th!  I know it’s tough.  April 25th is “catch and realease” in MI.  Some teams got a head start, but it’s a long season.

As long as we post fish we will be fine.

Well the official start of the C&R;for bass in MI is here.  Unfortunately I couldn’t make it out due to me being on-call for work till weds.  I spent a lot of time going through tackle and looking at lake maps this weekend. The weather here was cruddy and should be better.  Water temps still <60.

Well my turkey season is over now, got out one day and got my bird.  So I will be able to hit the water more and hopefully start getting some fish to help our score.

Okay were on the board.  My trolling motor is not working and we had 22mph winds today.  I waded a river instead.  Soon as I get my meter I can figure out the trolling motor and post better fish.

I was able to get out Saturday and throw some lures around, caught 3 but they were good ones.  Only have pics of two of them cause I lost one of the 3+ lbers on my phone.  Grrrrrrrr.  Oh well here is 2 of the 3 I caught Saturday.  The pick of the scale is of the same fish in the first pic.

Here is one that I got on Saturday.  pushing 3lbs but no scale with me to be sure.

Great job guys. sorry i haven’t been able to post up any fish. Been real busy with school, and there has been thunderstorms every weekend for the past 5 weeks. the weather has been brutal up here. Im going on my trout fishing trip this thursday and i wont be back till the 26th, but after that its all bass fishing.

HERE IS TWO I GOT OVER THE WEEKEND, I KNOW THE ONE WONT COUNT BECAUSE YOU CANT SEE THE DATE IN THE PICTURE ON MY PAPER.  THE FIRST FISH PIC GOES WITH THE SCALE PIC OF IT.  3LBS.

Got some new tubes in the mail this past week and had to get them wet.  Caught this one(two pics same fish) and a little surprise got hooked up with one as well!!!  You can see the tube next to his body when he is in the grass.  He was a fighter!!!
