Im curious of everyones favorite power fishing lures, What keeps you in the game, what do you use when things get tough to pull your limit in before weigh in!.  I would ask your finnesse bait but im pretty sure senkos would come up in 95% of the posts!.

Mine as of right now would have to be a Bandit crankbait blue back chartetruse bottom, with a red permanent marker in areas where bait fish may bleed if injured or just natural areas like the tail or gills ect. though it didnt do what i needed for my tourney im curious to hear about everyone elses.

Spinnerbait & lipless cranks(early & late) are the two power techniques I rely on most, with chatterbaits coming in third. Colors for spinnerbait/chatter I prefer are chart/white, firetiger, & bluegill depending on conditions. Lipless I’ll go with bluegill, perch, baby bass, chrome/black back, & firetiger.

I havent powerfished a ton lately. The majority of my fish that I have caught this year have been on plastics and jigs. When I am powerfishing my lure of choice is either a chatterbait or a soft plastic jerkbait with a crankbait also being one.

It would have to be lipless cranks/ crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and a swin jig from time to time. Haven’t done much power fishing this year either. I’ve been hooked on topwater fishing and just can’t stop. it’s so much fun.

Spinnerbait, once I find a stretch with active fish I will switch to plastics/jigs to get the bigger ones.

A spinner bait is one of my favorite power fishing lures for sure. Spinnerbaits cover a ton of water. They can be fished tight to cover, and can cover a lot of different depths in the water column. Fishing a spinnerbait is a great way to get reaction bite if the conditions are right.

Spinnerbaits and crankbaits are definatly my go to baits for power fishing. Also I should include a t rigged beaver bait worked with a pegged 3/8oz tungten weight. All three of those baits work very wel for me and I can cover a lot of ground quickly with them. I’ve been working lipless cranks for years and I never have much luck with them. Not sure why. But I know that for many anglers, they are a dynamite way of covering water fast with good results. Just wish I was one of those folks.

Square bill crankbaits,  and jigs.  I love banging square bills off dock pillions,  laydowns and sides of floating docks.

Winds out of the south, blows the bait in the fishes mouth
Winds out of the east, fish bite the least

Jerkbaits if I know where they are ar atleast am fishing structures, Rattle-trap when I don’t have a clue. Firetiger and black/silver are about all I throw depending on clarity.
