I was thinking about drop shotting tubes.  More specifically the SK coffee tube.  I’m not sure if I could use a drop shot hook with the bigger bait.  What would you use for this?

if your around weeds, texas rig it with a 3/0 or 4/0 ewg hook, if not around weeds use a bigger 2, or 1 drop shot hook, big enough to have a good point when you nose hook it, or go through the middle of the tube and out the top instead of the whole tube if you know what I mean

Try stepping up to the finesse wide gap hook from Gamakatsu.

Cool.  Thanks guys.  SK has got this color called illusion pearl or something.  I had to get it.  Can I fish it with my Med. fast spinning rod w/ 8# flouro. ?

I would think so,  I haven’t used a tube that big on a drop shot but if it feels good to you I say give it a try.  Here in Mi. there is a Company called Xtreme Bass Tackle,  he makes a drop shot tube that everyone up here uses.  I would think any size tube would be good,  try the Strike King bitsy tube if you are looking for a smaller profile.
