So it was 41 degrees tonight and a freind of mine including our girlfriends went to Center City Philadelphia to go fishing. I was hoping for some Stripped Bass, but none. I was on the walleyes pretty good. Heres a pic of the biggest I caught tonight. Definately the biggest i’ve caught there. It’s a nice suprise when the eyes wake up down there, I don’t get to catch many walleye, but tonight has treated me well.

I caught 5 or 6 smaller ones on jerkbaits. I then picked up my 9 foot surf rod with 80 lb braid and a big storm swimbait. I was casting to a deep hole in the middle of the river where the stripers are ususally at and That walleye slammed it so hard I set the hook and the thing was jumping and thrashing I thought I had a striper on for sure. I got her closer to shore and saw those goofy eyeballs, I couldn’t believe it..she inhaled the bait too.
