Sounds like a sweet froggin outfit! No doubt you’ll enjoy that. I have a Revo that I’ve had for 2 years that I am planning on putting on my froggin rod. I’m leaning towards the Garcia Vendetta for a few reasons. One, I want a 7’3” or so rod, H-XF and the Venetta is available with those specs. Two, it is designed around the Revo reels to match them for a perfectly balanced outfit. And lastly, my budget is pretty tight and this rod will be something I can afford right now. I looked at the BPS Extreme 7’3” XH-XF and it seems like a decent enough rod, but a bit on the heavy side compared to the Vendetta.

The vandetta is a nice rod, I own one myself. They are literally unbreakable. I have a 7 foot med heavey fast action and is on the bit stiff side for being fast action. I use it for rattle traps and shallow crankin. Love the rod to death. I have a revo sx that i’ve used on it and it is perfectly balanced. I am using the new energy as of now with it, but the revo with any garcias new rods are awesome. If only they made a Verettas with the style I’m looking for….

I use the Kistler Jig and toad but voted for the Quantum Smoke. I throw the Kistler because it’s a 7 footer and easier to control casts for me. But on the other hand, I wouldn’t have a problem throwing a frog on the Smoke. It has more than enough backbone to pull the hogs out of the slop.

I got 2 froggin setups, BPS 7’mh fast Bionic Blade with a Team Daiwa 6.3:1 reel and a Cabelas Tourney Trail 7’mh, fast with a team Daiwa 6.3:1 reel. about all i do for 3 month is frog fish and these 2 outfits do me good. Both rods were $60 and the reels i bought from twitch for i think $40 each. I really love the reels. thank your uncle for me Twitch.

How is your uncle doing Twitch? i hope all goes well for him!

He is doing pretty well. He finally found a job around here where he’s full-time.

I didn’t vote for any of them because I have never used or even held any of them.

My frog rod (which is also my swimbait rod) is a Quantum Tour Edition PT 7’9” H action rod with an xfast tip.
