I can’t speak for the new Carrot Stix Wild rods that just came out. Personally, I would buy a Veritas before I buy a Carrot Stix Wild rod.

Veritas is the new white Abu Garcia rod. I’d probably go that route over the Carrot Stick as well, especially for fishing in & around heavy cover. I’ve heard they’re really, really tough.

I fish Carrot Stix rods, can’t vouch for the new ones but I have not had any problems with mine I’ve been fishining the LTX series for two seasons now.  Allthough if I was going to buy some more I would probably go with the Professional Grade over the Wild series.  Just guessing but the Professional Grade seem to be about the same as the LTX that I have.

I have a Carrot Stix but it is the Cranking Carrot Stix. It was part of the LTX version of the Carrot Stix to start out with but they just changed the name because of the parabolic bend in it. I love my Carrot Stix. It is the best rod for shallow cranks IMO. It is also a great spinnerbait, lipless crank, and light topwater rod. Pro22Frogger is asking about the new Wild series Carrot Stix   http://www.basspro.com/Element-21-Carrot-Stix-Wild-Micro-Trigger-Rods/product/10209423/-1749723
