Nice win for Shaw - congrats on going to the Classic, too!

I’m glad to see the Van Dam’s both do well too

I was talking about Remitz ....It was on a live feed before day 3 weight-in Zona was talking to the guy that got the biggest bass and how you could go from 97th to the top 20 with a good fish.  Zona made a comment about how Remitz maybe should have stuck it out.

Wow - well Grant Goldbeck showed that you can turn it around.  I wonder what the whole story is with Derek.  If what you did didn’t work, maybe you need to change your approach.

Kevin said he did that that from day 1 to day 2.  Not sure what happened on day 3 - if he caught better fish, he would have had a better shot at Shaw.  Shaw’s 10 pounder the first day all but won the tourny for him as it gave him a bigger buffer heading into the weekend.

Great start to the Elite Series season - Grigsby winning by doing what he excels at - Clunn in the T12 - JVD showing he belongs (LOL on manually changing the cell time…but forgetting that they auto-change) and KVD off to a strong AOL beginning!

Why would you leave?  If he only made the top 50, he would have gotten 10,000! 24lbs isnt unreasonable and shaw and grant both showed that

I don’t think he left I think he just zeroed both days. It would be suicidal for his season for him to just leave b/c I beleive you have to weigh at least 1 fish in the event to recieve ANY points. I think all these guys have way to much riding on this to not show up for the second day. I think he just had a really tough tourney. I hope he has a short memory and gets back on them this week, I like really like Remitz.

KVD said on his face book page that he was really happy with his performance on the Harris Chain, because it was his best finish he has had there. I hope he also does really well on the St. John’s.
