WHOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO I love baseball and am stoked for this year. Grinke( when he comes back) Marcum, Gallardo, Wolf, and whoever is going to be 5. The Brewers are actually looking good this year. They have upgraded their pitching, bullpen and the bench with the addition of Morgan. Hopefully they do goood, its been a long time

The first day of baseball is great!! It’s sure sign that spring is here. I’m not positive the Tigers will play the Yanks today, because it is cold and rainy in New York. They are talking about a rain out. It will not be opening day in Detroit until next Friday. I hope we have better weather by then.

I am glad that the Brewers put a roof on the stadium, even if it leaked, it was great, no more rain outs in Milwaukee. I wont make opening day this year but plan on taking the boys, maybe the wife too if she finishes her chores,  to a few games

i’m from Ohio, you think the Brewers could beat the 1975 or 1976 Cincy Reds? I’ll put that team up against any team ever.

I think the Cards have a good team, its going to hurt them without Wainwright for the year. Isnt Carpenter hurt also?

lot of people are picking the Brewers or the Reds. Prince and Votto have to have big years or both teams are dead.

Pumped! I’m a huge Reds fan and looking forward to the season. The Brewers are going definitely going to be a team to watch this year.

First inning was shaky for the Reds, as far as pitching.

I used to look forward to opening day, but I became what I used to hate, an indifferent Braves fan. Actually I’m an ex-Braves fan after they made that ignorant Tex trade, where they gave up the farm just so they could turn around & trade him a year later for Casey Kotchman. sick That trade looks worse than when they gave up Wainwright for one season of JD Drew.

I am calmed down now. How do you give up 4 in the 9th. Not a good way to start the year. Only 161 to go!!

Cards leading 3-2 in the ninth - blow it and lose 5-3 in 11.
